MATS at a Glance

MATS Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship, formerly MATS School of Business, was established in 2001, by the JGI Group, with the clear vision of creating Leaders, Managers and Entrepreneurs to manage world class Indian and Foreign MNCs or their own Enterprises.

In a short span of 10 years, the Alumni strength of MATS has grown to 1600. They are into a variety of roles in Industry – Branch Managers, Business Analysts, Business Development Managers, Chief Operating Officers, Customer Relationship Managers, HR Executives, HR Associates, HR Managers, Image Managers, Marketing Managers, Project Directors, Regional Managers, Risk Managers and Vice- Presidents. Companies that have recruited MATSONIANS have identified them as high-flyers and have provided them with special pathways for growth.

MATS has the unchallenged reputation of being an excellent Institute for Entrepreneurs.   More than 46 companies have been incubated by MATS Alumni with support from the RCJ Centre of Entrepreneurship.  A large number of MATSONIANS have expanded their family business ventures or established their own ventures with funding from other sources.

MATS  is consistently ranked among best B Schools in South India from 2003 onwards.

The student completes a MBA at Jain University and transfers to France for his MIB

Eligibility

• Any Bachelors Degree with 50% aggregate
• A good score in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/Jain University Test or equivalent
• Work experience preferred

Note: Students who are in the final year of their degree programme are eligible to apply

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted students will be called for GD, Test of Presentation Skills and a Personal Interview

First Round - Group Discussion

Candidates will be short-listed based on content, communication skills, body language and leadership ability

Second Round – Test of Presentation Skills

The topics for the presentation will be given to the candidates well in advance. Candidates will be assessed based on their content, presentation skills, fluency, clarity and Q & A session

Final Round – Personal Interview

Candidates who qualify the above mentioned rounds are shortlisted for personal interview. Based on the performance during the interview candidates are selected for the MIME PGDM Programm

Applying for both PGDM & MBA Programs:

Fill up both the “MATS” and “Jain University” Application forms. Forms can be obtained from the Admissions Office or can be downloaded. Send only one DD for Rs. 500 in favour of “MATS” payable at Bangalore.
