ADMISSIONS
Candidate with a composite score of 600 in MAT or 75th percentile in CAT/XAT/ATMA and an of 50% in undergraduate program are eligible to apply
Selection process:
The selection process during admissions 2009 will consider the following:
- Graduation percentage: while 50% is specified as the minimum, preference shall be given to students with 60% and above in their 10th, 12th and graduation exams.
- A high score in an international or a national aptitude test. In admissions 2008 the average score in MAT was 600 and the highest score was 750 with 98.5 percentile..
- Candidates with full time work experience of one year and above will be given preference. 20% of students with experience in 2008 batch.
- The performance in group discussion round shall be the basis for selection for further rounds of MATS Entrance Test Process. Emphasis shall be on content, communication skills, body language and leadership ability.
- Performance in test of Presentation skills (TOPS), Topics will be given to candidate well in advance, so that they may prepare adequately. They will be assessed based on content, presentation skills, Fluency, Clarity and Q & A.
Candidates who qualify based on criteria a to e above shall be shortlisted for the personal interview round. Their overall suitability for the MATS’ PGDM program will be assessed during personal interview.
